This is the 32nd consecutive game that I have had only one or two of the three possible colors represented in my first guess. This is the third time I have had such a streak last this long. I have never had a longer streak of this sort. The other two streaks of this kind that reached 32 games ended on 07/28/22 and 04/21/24.

I considered making BROOM my third guess right after I saw the results of my second guess. I spent a lot of time trying to come up with other possible third guesses. I don’t know why BLOOM didn’t occur to me until after I finally gave BROOM a try.

I thought of MOOCH as a possible answer when I was working on my second guess but I didn’t try it then because it had two Os. It seemed more likely that it could be the answer after my third guess.

This is only the fourth time that my next to last guess has been 1.0.4 and that I have finished the game in 4 guesses. The first of those games happened on 06/22/23 and was a Plan B game so it looked nothing like today’s game. The second happened on 07/24/23 and started with 0.0.5 and looked not too dissimilar from today’s game. The third happened on 07/17/24 and looked fairly similar to today’s game.
