This is my fourth winning streak to reach the 100 game mark. Here are some stats comparing the four streaks at the 100 game mark and comparing the streak to my overall statistics.

There are two things that stand out when I look at the stats. First, I started considerably more games with with all black letters (0.0.5) and considerably fewer with 2 yellow and 3 black letter (0.2.3) than I have in previous winning streaks. Second the balance between games I finished in 1 to 3 guesses versus 5 or 6 guesses (+/- 4) was in favor of games I finished 5 or 6 guesses to a much larger degree than in previous winning streaks.

This is the first time this month that I have started a game with 0.2.3 and finished it in 4 guesses. This is the second month in a row that I have started at least one game with 0.2.3 and finished it in 4 guesses. I have started at least one game with 0.2.3 and finished it in 4 guesses in 44 of the past 48 months.

I have, with this game, completed my monthly bingo card for the seven most common start / finish combinations for the first time since Jun 2025.

This is my 10th YB game, or game in which there was an equal number of yellow and black letters and a lesser number of green letters. This is the second month in a row that I have had a YB game. I didn’t finish any games in 2 guesses in February. This is the first time since Sep 2025 that has been the case.

I didn’t exactly breeze through my second and third guesses but it took at least a couple minutes after I saw the results of my third guess for me to come up with my fourth guess and convince myself that I couldn’t think of any better words.

This is my first 5G game in which I have had all black on the first two guesses. One could say that this is the second time this has happened but my game from 05/25/22 was both a 5G and a 0Y game.

I played it safe with my second and third guesses and it paid off.
