I was taking a bit of a chance starting with a word that included K and V but that was the word I chose to start with today. It all worked out in the end but I feel as though there was an element of luck working in my favor today. I don’t think there were any other possible answers after my fourth guess.

That was close but I’m pretty sure that there was just one possible answer after my fifth guess.

This is the 13th time that I have had a game in which there was more than 16 black letters. This is the fourth time this year this has happened. It happened five times in 2025 and four times prior to that. Six of the 14 times it has happened have been games that I did not complete successfully. It has only happened once in a game that didn’t go the distance.
