This ends my 17th winning streak, my fourth longest winning streak. I should have thought a little more and made something like SANDY my fourth guess but I became fixated on the idea that the missing letters were probably the same.

I checked and SAGGY has not been the answer in the past but SANDY has.

That’s it for March. Here are some stats. My average score for March was 4.19. This isn’t as high as the last couple months but it’s still much higher than my overall average of 4.04. I avoided having a third consecutive month in which my average score was 4.20 or higher but only by a hair. Maybe it was the one game I finished in 2 guesses that helped me to avoid the shame of making it three months in a row.

Twice this month I started a game with 0.2.3 and successfully finished it in 6 guesses. This is just the third time that has happened more than once in a calendar month. It has never happened more than twice in a calendar month.

I started five games with 0.1.4 this month. This isn’t the first time I’ve started only five games with 0.1.4 in a calendar month but I’ve never started fewer than five with 0.1.4 and this has only happened twice before. The two prior months in which I started only five games with 0.1.4 were Jun 2022 and Apr 2023.
