My second guess was instinctive. If I had been thinking a bit more then I might not have tried filling in the two missing letters with the same letter. I might have tried something like FINAL instead.

This is the 13th time I have finished a game in two guesses. This is the third month that I have finished at least two games in two guesses. This is the fourth consecutive month that I have finished at least one game in two guesses.
