I spent most of my time on my third guess. I really didn’t want it to consist of just four different letters but I couldn’t come up with any word that consisted of five different letters without using at least one letter that had already been eliminated from contention.

This the 15th time that I have started a game with just black letters in my first two guesses. This is my fourth 0Y game that has started with just black letters in my first two guesses. The last time I started a game with just black letters in my first two guesses was on 11/20/25. The last time I started a 0Y game with just black letters in my first two guesses was on 06/08/24. Almost half (7/15) of my games that have started with just black letters in my first two guesses occurred in 2025.

This is the first time since September that I have had 0Y games on consecutive days. This is the seventh time that I have had 0Y games on at least two consecutive days. Four of the seven times this happened occurred in 2025 and the other three time were in 2023.
