I spent most of my time on my third and fourth guesses. I wasn’t crazy about my third guess but I figured that it would get me something since it had all three vowels that I had yet to play. I also considered making MOXIE my third guess. I was stumped for at least a few minutes as to what if any words were possible answers after my third guess. As it turns out there was just one possible answer left, the one I chose.

This is the first time this month that I have started a game with 0.0.5. This is the 42nd consecutive month that I have started at least one game with 0.0.5. I have started at least one game with 0.0.5 in 52 of the past 54 months.

This is the first time this month that I have started a game with 0.0.5 and finished it in 4 guesses. This is the 29th consecutive month that I have started at least one game with 0.0.5 and finished it in 4 guesses. I have started at least one game with 0.0.5 and finished it in 4 guesses in 50 of the past 54 months.

This is the third time that I have had a game that consisted of 8 green and 12 black letters. This is the second such game I have had in the past three weeks. My previous 8.0.12 game occurred on 07/13/26 but the one before that happened almost four years before that on 07/20/22.

I spent most of my time on my third guess. I really didn’t want it to consist of just four different letters but I couldn’t come up with any word that consisted of five different letters without using at least one letter that had already been eliminated from contention.

This the 15th time that I have started a game with just black letters in my first two guesses. This is my fourth 0Y game that has started with just black letters in my first two guesses. The last time I started a game with just black letters in my first two guesses was on 11/20/25. The last time I started a 0Y game with just black letters in my first two guesses was on 06/08/24. Almost half (7/15) of my games that have started with just black letters in my first two guesses occurred in 2025.

This is the first time since September that I have had 0Y games on consecutive days. This is the seventh time that I have had 0Y games on at least two consecutive days. Four of the seven times this happened occurred in 2025 and the other three time were in 2023.

One third of the games (8/24) in my current winning streak have started with 0.0.5 while overall I have started roughly 14 percent of my games with 0.0.5.

My first three guesses went fairly quickly. After that I was stumped for several minutes. I probably would have tried HENCE as my fourth guess if I had thought of it then but it took me forever to get there, even after my fourth guess.

This is the seventh time that I have gotten three guesses into a game and only found one letter. 

This is the sixth time that my first two guesses consisted of nothing but black letters. I successfully completed all six of those games. Three of those games happened during my current winning streak. Three of those games were 0Y games but this is the only one that was a 0Y game during my current winning streak.

This is the first time that my first two guess have consisted of nothing but black letters and my third guess had four black letters.

This didn’t take too long, maybe 5-10 minutes, but it definitely had me scratching my head.

This is just the third time since I started playing that the answer has not included any vowels. It has been almost four months since that last happened. The first time this happened the word was NYMPH (03/27/22) and the second time it was TRYST (07/22/22).

This is the second time since I started playing that I didn’t get any green or yellow letters on my first or second guess. The first time that happened was on May 25 which was also the first time that I got a 5G and a 0Y in the same game. The only other time that happened was one and only time I got the answer on the first guess.

This my third 0Y this month which ties my record that was set in July. I also reached this mark in October. This is my sixth 0Y this streak which ties my record that was set during my longest streak.

This is the third time in the last five games that I have started a game with 0.0.5 which usually happens about 12 percent of the time.
