This is the 60th time I have started a game with 0.1.4 and finished it in 4 guesses. This the most common combination of start and finish and including this game it has occurred 12.6 percent of the time. 

That’s it for Jun. I finished the month with an average score of 3.80, my best monthly average ever and narrowly better than Oct 2022 when my average score was 3.81. My overall average for games finished correctly is 4.02 but if I include fails then that average is 4.05.

I finished all but 2 games this month in 3, 4, or 5 guesses. For the first time ever I finished a month with 10 or more games finished in two different number of guesses.

I thought about playing DINER as my third guess but I decided to go with DIVER instead because I thought of it first.

This is the 17th time I have started a game with 2.0.3. This is the fifth time I have started a game with 2.0.3 and finished it in 5 guesses. The last time I started a game with 2.0.3 and finished it in 5 guesses was on Jan 23. 

This is just the third time I have reached the half century mark. I have finished all but two of the 50 games in my current streak in 3, 4, or 5 guesses. That seems unusually high. Prior to this streak I was finishing 87.2 percent of my games in 3, 4, or 5 guesses.

I have had four 5G games (which seems a little high) but just one 0Y game (which seems low) during my current streak. Prior to this streak 5.6 percent of my games were 5G games and 7.1 percent were 0Y games.

This is the 150th game (of which I am aware) that I started with 0.1.4. I finished almost 40 percent (59/150) of those games in 4 guesses. I have yet to start a game with 0.1.4 and finish it in 2 guesses. I have only started one game with 0.1.4 and failed to find the answer.

This is the second time this month and third time this streak that I have started a game with 2 green letters. This is the first time this month and this streak that I have started a game with 2.0.3. The last time I started a game with 2.0.3 was on May 5. 

I have started about 5 percent (24/473) of my games overall with 2 green letters and 6 percent (29/473) with 2 or more green letters.

I sped through my first few guesses. I slowed down considerably after my fourth guess. I was afraid I would try something that I wasn’t sure was a word and it would turn out to be a word but not help me much. It seems like that was a sound call.
