Tricky! I can see this one tripping up a lot of people. I got lucky with my fourth guess. I think that it narrowed down the possibilities quite a bit.

I knew, after my third guess, that the first letter had to be R and figured that the second ne had to be a vowel. It didn’t occur to me that both the second and third letters might both be vowels until I thought of REUSE.
