I thought of trying CROCK as my fifth guess but I didn’t. That would, in retrospect, have been a better fifth guess. I only saw two possible answers after my fifth guess. I went with the one I thought of first. Oops?

This is third consecutive month in which I have failed to complete a game successfully. That’s a first for me. Maybe next month I can do better.

This was my second longest winning streak with an average number of guesses below 4. My longest winning streak with an average number of guesses below 4 lasted 61 games. I’m not sure if I should read anything into that but I am tempted to.
