This is the seventh consecutive game that I have started with at least two letters (yellow or green). This is the first time that I have put together a streak of this sort that has lasted more than 6 games.

The differential between the cumulative number of games I have finished in less than 4 guesses and those I have finished in more than 4 guesses or failed to finish correctly has reached 11 games (in favor of those that I have finished in less than 4 guesses) for just the second time. The only other time the differential reached this extreme was 07/03/24.

This is the 25th game of my current winning streak. Here are some stats.

This is my sixth longest winning streak and my sixth winning streak to reach this length. My average score for my current winning streak of 3.52 is the lowest for all my winning streaks than have reached the 25 game mark. It is just the second time that I have had an average score below 4 guesses per game during the first 25 games of a winning streak and blows away my previous record low of 3.96 guesses per game.

I have finished 84 percent (21/25) of the games in my current winning streak in less than 5 guesses. My previous high was finishing 72 percent (18/25) of the first 25 games in a winning streak in less than 5 guesses.

I finished just over half (13/25) of the first 25 games of my current winning streak in 3 guesses. Prior to this I had never finished more than about a third (8/25) of the first 25 games of a winning streak in 3 guesses.

I wish I could say that my low average score for my current winning streak was mostly due to skill but I don’t feel that is true. There is definitely an element of luck at play here.
