My first thought, after my third guess, was that there must be another vowel in the answer probably an E.

This is my 350th game of Wordle. Here are some statistics.

My overall average score has not changed since my 300th game when it was 4.07 but I've had considerably more 5 and 6 guess games and considerably fewer 3 and 4 guess games (in my last 25 games) than I did in the last 25 games leading up to and including my 300th game.

My average score across my last 25 games is 4.24 as compared to 3.88 across the 25 games leading up to and including my 300th game.

I have finished 12 games in two guesses. It took me 300 games to get that count up to 7 games. I have five more games that I finished in two guesses in my last fifty games. Ten percent of my last 50 games I finished in two guesses. That seems like a really high average. I doubt that count will be up to 17 (or higher) if/when I get to 400 games.

I was surprised after my second guess and stunned after my third one. I’m not sure what other possible answers there were after my second guess but mine couldn’t have have been the only one.

This is the first time I’ve scored a 5G and a 0Y in the same game on the 5-letter game on Septle. It has happened to me twice in the NYT game. One of those games looked like this one and other time was the one time I got it on the first guess.

This was not short or pretty but somehow I found the answer. I spent at least 10 minutes trying to figure out what to play after my fifth guess. I think this may be the first and only time that my fifth guess was FIFTH.

I don’t know if there were any other possible answers after my fifth guess. I would not have been happy if I tried something else as my sixth guess considering how close I was with my fifth guess.

My fourth guess was not a good one. It helped in that it got one letter into the right place but I left the T in the same spot it was in the third guess.

It also took me 6 guesses to finish the game the previous time I started with 0.1.4. I also started with 0.1.4 the previous time that it took me 6 guesses to finish the game.

I don’t know what I was thinking with my second guess. The word popped into my head and I played it before I noticed that it didn’t make sense to play it.

This is the second time this month that I have started the game with 1.1.3. At this point last month I had also only started 1 game with 0.1.4 which is, statistically speaking, the most common way that I start games.

I had a heck of a time trying to find a word for my third guess.

I am five days into Feb and on four of those days I have had at least one green letter on my first guess. I typically start fewer than 35% of my games with a green letter. This cannot go on.

I spent about half my time trying to figure out what my fifth guess should be. RUPEE came to mind fairly quickly but then I spent a few minutes searching for other possibilities. I finally tried it after I couldn’t think of any other words that fit.

This is the sixth time I have started a game with 2.0.3 but it is the first time I have started a game with 2.0.3 and finished it in 5 guesses.

This was a tricky one. Even after my fifth guess it took me a minute or two before it occurred to try EERIE. I couldn’t think of anything else that fit.
