There were several possible answers after my third guess. I had to go with Plan B. Some of the possibile answers had almost certainly been been the answer in the past but I don’t like to check that sort of things while I am playing so I didn’t.
I checkecd after the fact and four of the possible answers (MIGHT, LIGHT, NIGHT, SIGHT) had been the answer in the past. Not knowing this, I chose a word that used three of the possible first letters I considered. EIGHT wasn’t even on my radar screen at that point. It was just dumb luck that I chose a word that included an E.
