I saw three possible answers after my third guess. I decided to go for it rather than switch to Plan B. I would been happier if I had FOUND the answer with my fourth guess but it all worked out in the end. I got lucky enough.
I checked after the fact and FOUND that MOUND has not previously been the answer. The same is not true about my fourth guess.
