To say that I agonized over my third, fourth, and fifth guesses would be putting it mildly. It seemed like there was a very large pool of possible answers after my second guess. I used my next three guesses to eliminate letters until I finally found one that fit. It occurred to me that there might be a second R in the answer but I didn’t see how I could test that theory without possibly wasting a guess.
GOFER was one of a myriad of possible answers that occurred to me after my second guess but I didn’t feel comfortable giving it a go until my sixth guess.
This is the third time that I have had a game that lasted six guesses and in which the grid consisted of 12 green, 1 yellow, and 17 black letters. Both of the previous times this happened was in games that ended winning streaks. Those games happened on 04/22/23 and 01/19/25.
This is the first time this month that I have started a game with 2.0.3. This is the fourth consecutive month that I have started at least one game with 2.0.3. I have started at least one game with 2.0.3 in 30 of the past 41 months.

This is just the second time that I have started a game with 2.0.3 and finished it successfully in 6 guesses. The previous time this happened was on 07/14/22. I have successfully finished all 49 games that I have started with 2.0.3.
