I spent most of my time on my third guess. There were other words that could have been my third guess but I wanted something that included some of the more common letters. I wasn’t really sure that MOCKY was a playable word but I tried it anyway. MOMMY came to mind fairly quickly after my third guess but I hesitated and tried to think of other words that fit before giving it a try.

In the back of my head I've been expecting a word like MOMMY or DADDY or MOMMA to come along at some point. I got lucky to the degree that my third guess included an M and also placed two of the other letters in the right place.
