I thought about playing ANODE as my fifth guess but because I was running out of guesses I thought about it a little more. I came up with ABODE which seemed like a better guess to me so I went with that instead.

My fourth guess should have been my third guess. I thought of CHART but then I thought of CHARM. Usually I go with words in the order that I think of them.

I wanted a word that had five distinct letters but I couldn’t think of one so I went with the first word that came to mind. I think it took me even longer to come up with my fourth guess. I didn’t think my fourth guess was a word but I was very happy with how close it got me to the answer.
