I started with PIANO which yielded no correct letters. I was pretty sure that my second guess that would include at least one vowel in the wrong place. I was worried when I saw that there was no A-E-I-O-U in the word but I did have two of the consonants. Once I stopped panicking and got to work I figured it out fairly quickly.

I started with QUILT! That was a little crazy but I reasoned that all the letters other than Q were fairly common. I don’t really mind that it took me 5 guesses but I am relieved that I figured it out.

Nothing terribly remarkable about today’s game. Started with 1 yellow and 4 grey which happens fairly frequently. It took me three more guesses to close it out and they were all green and grey. End of story.

Started with 2 yellow and 3 grey. Same result on my second attempt. Nailed it on the third one. This makes 7 times that I haven’t seen any green tiles until I got the word. Four of the 7 times have been within the last 8 games I have played.

Started with 2 green and 3 grey. I went the distance without any yellow. The last and only other time I that happened was a fail. This is just my sixth game out of the past 128 games with no yellow. I was down to two possible words on the sixth guess. It was a real nail biter but I was pretty sure I was picking the right word.
